Which banks in Europe outside the EU offer a stablecoin off-ramp?

A stablecoin off-ramp means you can turn USDC, USDT or EURC into francs, pounds, euros or dollars in a bank account. LHV is the one parent bank that fails the test: under MiCA it offers 'other crypto assets' and no e-money tokens, so there is no stablecoin to sell. Six banks pass only partially. PostFinance lists USDC alone and keeps it inside the app, Zürcher Kantonalbank's tradable list stops at BTC, ETH, SOL and LINK, BBVA offers USDC at its Swiss arm but not in Spain, Luzerner Kantonalbank sells USDC and USDT into your own account with no FX fee but nothing to third parties, Standard Chartered's stablecoin work is institutional, and ClearBank mints and redeems EURC and USDC through Circle Mint for regulated institutions. The full passes are the Swiss crypto banks, Xapo, Bank Frick, Wirex, Revolut and BCB Group.

Questions people ask

Where can I cash out USDT, not just USDC, in Switzerland or the UK?

Sygnum, AMINA Bank, Swissquote, Wirex and Luzerner Kantonalbank all list USDT alongside USDC. Xapo Bank takes USDT on Ethereum or Tron and converts it to USD on arrival. Revolut stopped USDT support in Switzerland and the EEA on 31 August 2026 and converted leftover balances to home currency. Bank Frick and PostFinance support USDC and nothing else.

Can I get a stablecoin off-ramp that pays out in pounds?

Wirex converts stablecoin top-ups 1:1 into a USD or EUR balance with no spread and lets you withdraw by Faster Payments to a UK sort code. AMINA Bank holds fiat accounts in GBP and trades USDC, USDT and EURC against fiat, for professional clients. For businesses, BCB Group settles USDC conversion into Faster Payments. Xapo Bank pays out over Faster Payments too, but UK residents cannot make USD transactions there.
