Which banks in Europe outside the EU offer a stablecoin off-ramp and custody?

This pairing is for someone who wants the bank to hold their stablecoins and also cash them out. Two parent banks fail. LHV offers no stablecoins under MiCA, and ClearBank leaves custody to its clients' own wallets. The partial passes are on the custody side for Wirex, an e-money firm with no compensation cover, and BCB Group, whose Earn product lends stablecoins out. On the off-ramp side, PostFinance holds USDC alone, Zürcher Kantonalbank lists no stablecoin at all, BBVA offers USDC at its Swiss arm, Luzerner Kantonalbank sells USDC and USDT into your own account, and Standard Chartered's stablecoin work is institutional.

Questions people ask

Which Swiss bank holds USDC for me and lets me sell it for francs?

Luzerner Kantonalbank holds USDC and USDT off balance sheet and sells them into your CHF account with no FX fee, from CHF 50 per order. PostFinance added USDC in February 2026 and keeps it in a custody account run with Sygnum, for Swiss residents. Sygnum and AMINA Bank do the same at scale for qualified and professional clients, and BBVA Switzerland converts USDC into euros or dollars for private banking clients.

Does AMINA's Stablecoin Rewards Account count as custody?

Yes. It pays quarterly rewards on USDC, EURC, USDG and RLUSD with free custody, held off the bank's balance sheet in segregated wallets. The rewards are closed to US persons and to anyone resident or domiciled in the EEA, so a Swiss or UK client qualifies where an Austrian one does not. Tokens can be converted to fiat in CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD or AED accounts.
