Someone who wants one provider to both hold coins and turn stablecoins into euros lands here. Revolut and SG-FORGE are the two full passes on both, and SG-FORGE serves institutions only. Wirex and BCB Group are full on stablecoins with partial custody, BBVA and Deutsche Bank are full on custody with a partial on stablecoins, and Bunq, Santander · Openbank and Raiffeisen NÖ-Wien are partial on both, since their coins sit with Kraken, Crypto Finance or Bitpanda and none of the three sells a stablecoin service. Monerium and Rebind fail custody because assets stay in your own wallet, and LHV, N26 and Commerzbank fail stablecoins because they offer none.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| Revolut | 13/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for individuals, with the deepest crypto stack of any app-bank. No for crypto businesses. |
| Bunq | 12/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for retail through the Kraken-powered bunq Crypto tab, and for licensed CASPs on a fiat-only business account. Coins cannot leave the app. |
| BCB Group | 10/16 | Business banking | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, no for individuals. BCB is a payments and settlement provider, not a bank. |
| BBVA | 9/16 | Traditional | Solid | Mixed | Yes. BBVA sells and holds bitcoin and ether inside its own app in Spain, Switzerland and Türkiye, but the Spanish service is a closed loop and moving coins out costs 4%. |
| SG-FORGE | 7/16 | Traditional | Solid | none | Yes for institutions and crypto firms, no for individuals. SG-FORGE is a stablecoin issuer and custodian, not a retail bank. |
| Deutsche Bank | 6/16 | Traditional | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, not yet for individuals. |

Revolut holds USDC through its EEA entity, sells it in-app and still supports it after withdrawing USDT on 31 August 2026. Wirex holds stablecoin balances and converts them 1:1 into EUR, though as an e-money institution rather than a bank and with no deposit protection. BBVA custodies and converts USDC only at BBVA Switzerland, not in its Spanish app. BCB Group does this for business clients.
Because it never holds anything. EURe is minted straight into a self-custody wallet on Ethereum, Gnosis, Polygon or another supported chain, and Monerium states it does not hold crypto. Rebind is the same: its terms say it cannot access or move your assets. For both, non-custodial is the design rather than a gap, but it means no bank-style safekeeping.
