This overlap is tight because staking a company's treasury needs a bank that both banks crypto firms and runs validators or a yield desk. Sygnum, AMINA Bank and Swissquote lead at 15 of 16, Bank Frick, Anchorage Digital and Bitcoin Suisse stake across the main proof of stake chains (Anchorage on more than 20 networks including Hyperliquid), while Xapo Bank, Singapore Gulf Bank and Wirex pass on a partial yield score: Xapo pays interest in Bitcoin rather than staking, SGB offers USD fixed deposits up to 4.00% and no crypto yield, and Wirex runs Earn accounts with no compensation cover. Swissquote's partial is on the business side, since its business accounts target Swiss SMEs and international companies, and Standard Chartered passes on two partials with institutional staking through Zodia Custody and Blockdaemon. LHV fails staking because it is not live yet, bunq fails because staking sits in the personal Crypto tab and its CASP business account is fiat only, and Monerium, BCB Group, ClearBank, Cross River Bank, Zand Bank, SG-FORGE, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Custodia Bank, Mercury and DBS fail because none stakes for clients, DBS adding that MAS has barred staking for retail since July 2023.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sygnum | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for qualified investors, companies and institutions. Sygnum does not take retail clients. |
| AMINA Bank | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for professional clients and companies. Individuals need CHF 500,000 in assets plus finance experience, or CHF 2 million. |
| Swissquote | 15/16 | Neobank | Solid | Strict | Yes, with fenced on-chain flows: crypto comes in only from six named exchanges or your own wallet, and never goes out to an exchange. |
| Xapo Bank | 14/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | Unknown | Yes. Bitcoin and stablecoins are the core product, though the bank publishes no policy on transfers to exchanges. |
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| Bank Frick | 13/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes for crypto businesses, intermediaries and wealthy private clients. No walk-in retail. |
| Anchorage Digital | 12/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes for institutions, no for individuals. |
| Bunq | 12/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for retail through the Kraken-powered bunq Crypto tab, and for licensed CASPs on a fiat-only business account. Coins cannot leave the app. |
| Bitcoin Suisse | 11/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, for people with CHF 50,000 or more. It is a crypto broker and custodian, not a deposit bank. |
| BCB Group | 10/16 | Business banking | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, no for individuals. BCB is a payments and settlement provider, not a bank. |
| Standard Chartered | 8/16 | Traditional | Watch | none | Yes for institutions, through spot trading, custody and stablecoins. Retail customers get little beyond the Mox app in Hong Kong. |

Sygnum stakes ETH, SOL, ADA, SUI, ATOM, ICP and XTZ inside the same custody account that holds the company's coins, next to CHF, EUR, USD and SGD accounts for DLT companies and foundations. AMINA Bank stakes ETH, SOL, ADA, DOT, POL, XTZ, ATOM and GRAM and keeps 15% of rewards, with a zero-fee startup package. Bank Frick stakes ETH, ADA, XTZ, SOL, DOT, POL and ATOM with rewards credited to the client's crypto account, though it may be limited by country of residence. Anchorage Digital stakes across more than 20 networks for US and Singapore institutions.
Four do, in different ways. AMINA Bank's Stablecoin Rewards Account pays quarterly rewards on USDC, EURC, USDG and RLUSD with free custody, but not to US persons or anyone in the EEA. Anchorage Digital pays interest on USD balances held through BNY and monthly rewards on eligible stablecoins. Wirex Earn takes stablecoins and crypto, flexible or fixed term, advertised at up to 9.75% APY with no compensation scheme cover, and Xapo Bank pays 3.35% variable on USD savings, with the interest paid daily in Bitcoin.
