Business accounts with staking suit a Web3 company that holds ETH or SOL in treasury and wants it working. Eight parent banks fail, and three of them fail both tests: BBVA, Zürcher Kantonalbank and Luzerner Kantonalbank have neither a Web3 business offer nor staking. Revolut and PostFinance fail on business accounts. LHV, BCB Group and ClearBank bank crypto firms but stake nothing, with LHV saying staking is planned after its 2026 MiCA licence. Of the eight that pass, Swissquote is partial on business accounts, Xapo Bank and Wirex are partial on staking because they pay interest or Earn rewards rather than staking, and Standard Chartered is partial on both.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sygnum | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for qualified investors, companies and institutions. Sygnum does not take retail clients. |
| AMINA Bank | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for professional clients and companies. Individuals need CHF 500,000 in assets plus finance experience, or CHF 2 million. |
| Swissquote | 15/16 | Neobank | Solid | Strict | Yes, with fenced on-chain flows: crypto comes in only from six named exchanges or your own wallet, and never goes out to an exchange. |
| Xapo Bank | 14/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | Unknown | Yes. Bitcoin and stablecoins are the core product, though the bank publishes no policy on transfers to exchanges. |
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| Bank Frick | 13/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes for crypto businesses, intermediaries and wealthy private clients. No walk-in retail. |
| Bitcoin Suisse | 11/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, for people with CHF 50,000 or more. It is a crypto broker and custodian, not a deposit bank. |
| BCB Group | 10/16 | Business banking | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, no for individuals. BCB is a payments and settlement provider, not a bank. |
| Standard Chartered | 8/16 | Traditional | Watch | none | Yes for institutions, through spot trading, custody and stablecoins. Retail customers get little beyond the Mox app in Hong Kong. |

Sygnum stakes ETH, SOL, ADA, SUI, ATOM, ICP and XTZ inside the custody account it opens for DLT companies and foundations. AMINA Bank stakes eight assets for Web3 startups and funds, keeping 15% of rewards. Bank Frick stakes ETH, ADA, XTZ, SOL, DOT, POL and ATOM for blockchain companies, though staking may be limited by the client's country of residence. Swissquote's business accounts include staking of ETH, DOT, SOL and ADA.
Standard Chartered offers staking on ETH and other assets through Zodia Custody with Blockdaemon, for institutions alone, which is why it scores partial on both tests. Wirex Business gets access to Earn accounts rather than staking. Xapo Bank pays interest in Bitcoin instead of staking, and its business accounts are restricted to transfers in the entity's own name.
