Yield on a company balance plus an account for a Web3 firm takes out four of the seven UK parent banks. Revolut stakes 16 tokens for individuals but shuts crypto firms out of Revolut Business, and LHV, BCB Group and ClearBank all open accounts for crypto businesses but offer no staking, with LHV saying it will add staking after its 2026 MiCA licence. None of the three that pass scores a full 2 on staking. Xapo Bank pays interest rather than staking rewards, 3.35% variable on USD and 0.25% on Bitcoin, paid daily in Bitcoin, Wirex Earn advertises up to 9.75% APY on stablecoins and crypto with no compensation scheme cover, and Standard Chartered's institutional ETH staking through Zodia Custody with Blockdaemon carries a partial on both tests because it serves institutions and fintech partners rather than ordinary companies.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Xapo Bank | 14/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | Unknown | Yes. Bitcoin and stablecoins are the core product, though the bank publishes no policy on transfers to exchanges. |
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| BCB Group | 10/16 | Business banking | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, no for individuals. BCB is a payments and settlement provider, not a bank. |
| Standard Chartered | 8/16 | Traditional | Watch | none | Yes for institutions, through spot trading, custody and stablecoins. Retail customers get little beyond the Mox app in Hong Kong. |

Wirex Earn accounts pay on stablecoins and crypto, flexible or fixed term, advertised at up to 9.75% APY, and Wirex Business is open to Web3 companies and fintechs. Xapo Bank pays 3.35% variable on USD savings, in Bitcoin, on accounts that include businesses and trusts. BCB Group has a Stablecoin Earn product on USDC, USDT and EURC for its business clients, but it scores no on staking and so does not appear on this page.
Revolut's staking, 16 tokens at up to 22% APY, is a personal account feature under Revolut Ltd's FCA registration. Its business accounts can buy, hold and sell crypto in the company's name, but they cannot send or receive crypto, and crypto exchanges, brokers, on and off ramp providers, mining and trading firms, asset managers and unregulated custodial wallets are refused business accounts outright. The Web3 business test is a no, so the staking score never comes into play.
