Which banks in the EU offer Web3 business accounts?

This page is for a company that touches crypto and needs an account that knows it. Wirex, LHV, Monerium and BCB Group score full: Wirex Business takes Web3 and crypto companies, LHV's UK arm banks crypto and VASP clients, Monerium issues business IBANs with API access to exchanges and DeFi platforms, and BCB Group counts Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini and Bitstamp as clients. The partials are narrower doors: Bunq takes MiCAR-authorised CASPs on a fiat-only account and refuses any firm with a UBO outside the EEA, SG-FORGE and Deutsche Bank bank regulated exchanges and brokers at institutional level, and Commerzbank custodies for German corporates with a 500,000 euro minimum. Revolut fails because it refuses exchanges, brokers, on and off ramps and most other crypto firms, N26 fails because N26 Business is for self-employed people only, Santander · Openbank has no business accounts at all, and BBVA, Raiffeisen NÖ-Wien and Rebind publish nothing for crypto businesses.

Questions people ask

My company is a licensed CASP in the EU. Which bank will take us?

Bunq is the one built for exactly that: a Standard account for operating funds and an Omnibus account for client fiat, for firms registered with an EU supervisor, with every UBO in the EEA. Deutsche Bank banks regulated exchanges such as Bitpanda and Bullish, and Societe Generale through SG-FORGE banks exchanges, brokers and wallet providers. Monerium and BCB Group open accounts for exchanges and fintechs, and LHV does so through its UK bank.

Why isn't Revolut Business on this list?

Because Revolut names crypto exchanges, brokers, dealers, on and off ramp providers, crypto ATMs, ICO issuers, mining, trading and investment firms, crypto asset managers and unregulated custodial wallets as businesses it will not bank. A Revolut Business account can buy, hold and sell crypto in the company's name, but it cannot send or receive crypto and may not take in funds that came from dealing in it. That serves a normal company holding some bitcoin, not a Web3 business.
