Which banks in Switzerland offer Web3 business accounts?

A Web3 business account means the bank will open a current account for a company whose business is crypto, not just a company that wants to buy some. Sygnum, AMINA Bank, Bank Frick and Bitcoin Suisse all say so in plain terms: Sygnum for DLT companies, foundations and startups, AMINA for miners, exchanges, market makers and funds with a zero-fee startup package, Bank Frick for blockchain companies in CHF, EUR, USD and GBP, and Bitcoin Suisse for foundations, token issuers and funds, though its corporate accounts start at CHF 500,000. Swissquote passes partially. It offers business accounts with custody, trading and staking for Swiss SMEs and international companies, but does not describe onboarding crypto firms specifically. The four traditional banks are out. PostFinance's business offer is for Swiss companies that want to invest, with no mention of exchanges or token issuers, BBVA has no published policy on crypto businesses, and Zürcher Kantonalbank and Luzerner Kantonalbank do not offer this service.

Questions people ask

Which Swiss bank will open an account for a crypto startup?

Sygnum names DLT companies, foundations and Web3 startups as clients, and AMINA Bank has a zero-fee startup package alongside accounts for miners, exchanges, market makers and funds. Bank Frick takes blockchain companies and is a common choice for intermediaries. Bitcoin Suisse serves foundations and token issuers but sets corporate accounts at CHF 500,000.

Does Swissquote take crypto companies as business clients?

Partly. Swissquote offers business accounts with crypto custody, trading and staking for Swiss SMEs and international companies, so a company can hold and trade crypto through it. It does not publish anything about onboarding exchanges, token issuers or other firms whose core business is crypto, which is why it scores a partial here rather than a full pass.
