Exchange transfers plus a card is the everyday setup: fund an exchange from the account, bring proceeds back, spend them. Wirex scores full on both. Revolut, Bunq and Rebind have the card but a partial on transfers, since Revolut lists some exchanges as unsupported, Bunq's risk engine can block flagged payments, and Rebind never names an exchange. LHV is the reverse, full on transfers and partial on card because its cards are ordinary and crypto bought at LHV cannot be spent elsewhere. Monerium and BCB Group fail on card, N26 fails on transfers, BBVA, SG-FORGE, Santander · Openbank and Raiffeisen NÖ-Wien fail on card, and Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank fail both.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| Revolut | 13/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for individuals, with the deepest crypto stack of any app-bank. No for crypto businesses. |
| Bunq | 12/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for retail through the Kraken-powered bunq Crypto tab, and for licensed CASPs on a fiat-only business account. Coins cannot leave the app. |
| Rebind | 11/16 | Neobank | Watch | Unknown | Yes for euro transfers through a personal Monerium IBAN, but Rebind is an app, not a bank, and it never names exchanges. |
| LHV | 9/16 | Business banking | Solid | Relaxed | Yes. Crypto trading is built into the Estonian app, and the UK arm banks Coinbase and Bitstamp, but coins cannot leave the bank. |
| BBVA | 9/16 | Traditional | Solid | Mixed | Yes. BBVA sells and holds bitcoin and ether inside its own app in Spain, Switzerland and Türkiye, but the Spanish service is a closed loop and moving coins out costs 4%. |
| Santander · Openbank | 7/16 | Traditional | Solid | Strict | Yes for buying crypto inside the bank, with a closed loop that is slow and costly to leave, and exchange transfers that vary by country. |

Wirex takes the coins straight from the exchange, converts stablecoins 1:1 into a EUR balance and puts a Mastercard with cashback on top. Revolut's crypto card spends from a crypto balance, though transfers to some exchanges are declined. Bunq lets you SEPA euros to an exchange account in your own name and spend the return on a Bunq card. Rebind gives an IBAN for SEPA in and a virtual Visa through Gnosis Pay.
No, which is why LHV scores partial. Its Estonian debit and credit cards and its fee-free UK debit card are ordinary bank cards, and crypto bought inside LHV cannot be used to pay for goods or services on other platforms. Where LHV shines is the other half of this page: euro payments to and from exchanges are treated as ordinary transfers and its UK arm banks Coinbase and Bitstamp.
