Staking inside the bank means rewards land in the same account as your coins, with no wallet or validator to run. Six Swiss banks do it. Sygnum covers ETH, SOL, ADA, SUI, ATOM, ICP and XTZ, AMINA Bank a similar list plus DOT, POL and GRAM while keeping 15% of rewards, Bank Frick seven assets with availability depending on where you live, and Bitcoin Suisse ETH, SOL, DOT, ADA and other proof of stake coins. For a retail customer the practical choices are Swissquote, which stakes ETH, DOT, SOL and ADA and keeps 20% of rewards, and PostFinance, which stakes Ethereum only from 0.1 ETH. Three parent-list banks fail the test: BBVA offers no staking, lending or yield on crypto, and Zürcher Kantonalbank and Luzerner Kantonalbank list no staking or yield services.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sygnum | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for qualified investors, companies and institutions. Sygnum does not take retail clients. |
| AMINA Bank | 15/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, but only for professional clients and companies. Individuals need CHF 500,000 in assets plus finance experience, or CHF 2 million. |
| Swissquote | 15/16 | Neobank | Solid | Strict | Yes, with fenced on-chain flows: crypto comes in only from six named exchanges or your own wallet, and never goes out to an exchange. |
| Bank Frick | 13/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes for crypto businesses, intermediaries and wealthy private clients. No walk-in retail. |
| Bitcoin Suisse | 11/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | none | Yes, for people with CHF 50,000 or more. It is a crypto broker and custodian, not a deposit bank. |
| PostFinance | 9/16 | Traditional | Solid | Mixed | Yes. PostFinance sells, holds and stakes crypto in its own app, but only for Swiss residents and with no way to move coins to your own wallet. |

Swissquote and PostFinance. Swissquote stakes ETH, DOT, SOL and ADA from inside a normal account and keeps 20% of the rewards. PostFinance stakes Ethereum only, from 0.1 ETH, with rewards credited to the account. Sygnum, AMINA Bank, Bank Frick and Bitcoin Suisse also stake but require qualified investor status or large minimums.
Where a figure is published, AMINA Bank keeps 15% and Swissquote keeps 20%. Sygnum, Bank Frick, Bitcoin Suisse and PostFinance do not state a cut in the data we hold, so check the fee schedule before assuming rewards arrive in full. Bank Frick also warns staking may be limited or unavailable depending on your country of residence.
