Staking and yield means the provider pays you something for holding, and three of the seven UK banks pay individuals nothing: LHV says staking will follow its 2026 MiCA licence but it is not live, BCB Group has no staking and its stablecoin Earn product is for business clients, and ClearBank offers no staking or yield of any kind. Revolut is the one full pass, with staking on 16 tokens including ETH, SOL, ADA and DOT at an advertised rate of up to 22% APY. Xapo Bank and Wirex score partials because their yield is interest rather than staking: Xapo pays 3.35% variable on USD savings and 0.25% on Bitcoin, paid daily in Bitcoin on balances up to 2 BTC, while Wirex Earn accounts advertise up to 9.75% APY on stablecoins and crypto with no compensation scheme cover. Standard Chartered's partial is institutional ETH staking through Zodia Custody with Blockdaemon, which a UK individual cannot use.
| Bank | Score | Type | Health | P2P | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Xapo Bank | 14/16 | Crypto-native | Solid | Unknown | Yes. Bitcoin and stablecoins are the core product, though the bank publishes no policy on transfers to exchanges. |
| Wirex | 14/16 | Neobank | Unknown | Strict | Yes. Crypto moves freely in and out, but the card cannot buy crypto elsewhere and the old app lost its crypto features in the EEA on 30 June 2026. |
| Revolut | 13/16 | Neobank | Watch | Mixed | Yes for individuals, with the deepest crypto stack of any app-bank. No for crypto businesses. |
| BCB Group | 10/16 | Business banking | Watch | none | Yes for crypto businesses and institutions, no for individuals. BCB is a payments and settlement provider, not a bank. |
| Standard Chartered | 8/16 | Traditional | Watch | none | Yes for institutions, through spot trading, custody and stablecoins. Retail customers get little beyond the Mox app in Hong Kong. |

Revolut, and it is the one on this list that does. It stakes 16 tokens including ETH, SOL, ADA, DOT, ATOM and ALGO, with an advertised rate of up to 22% APY, under Revolut Ltd's FCA cryptoasset registration in the UK. Crypto balances there have no FSCS cover, and if the account is closed Revolut sells your holdings at the rate of the day rather than returning coins.
Xapo Bank pays 0.25% variable on Bitcoin and 3.35% variable on USD savings, both paid daily in Bitcoin on balances up to 2 BTC. Membership costs USD 1,000 a year, and UK residents cannot make USD transactions or use lending products. Wirex is the other interest route, with Earn accounts on crypto and stablecoins advertised at up to 9.75% APY, flexible or fixed term.
