Which banks in the EU offer staking?

Staking and yield is the thinnest test in the EU set, and three providers pass. Revolut stakes 16 tokens including ETH, SOL, ADA and DOT at an advertised rate of up to 22% APY. Rebind pays up to 5% on euros and 8% on dollars by placing stablecoins in Aave, Morpho and Fluid money markets, which is DeFi lending rather than staking. Wirex scores partial because its Earn accounts pay yield on stablecoins and crypto, advertised at up to 9.75% APY on flexible or fixed terms, and those balances carry no compensation cover. LHV fails because it plans staking after its 2026 MiCA licence but has not launched it, and BBVA, Santander · Openbank, N26, Raiffeisen NÖ-Wien, SG-FORGE, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Monerium and BCB Group all state they offer no staking or yield. Bunq is scored no on this test as well.

Revolut13/16NeobankWatchMixedYes for individuals, with the deepest crypto stack of any app-bank. No for crypto businesses.

Questions people ask

Can I stake ETH or SOL through an EU bank app?

Revolut is the one that does it as staking: ETH, SOL, ADA, DOT, ATOM, ALGO and ten more tokens, up to 22% APY advertised. Rebind's yield comes from stablecoins lent through DeFi money markets, not from staking a token. Wirex Earn pays on stablecoins and crypto with flexible or fixed terms. LHV says staking comes after its 2026 MiCA licence, so nothing yet.

Is the yield on Rebind or Wirex protected like a savings account?

No. Rebind's balances sit in smart contracts, its terms warn of partial or total capital loss, and there is no deposit guarantee. Wirex has no FSCS or deposit protection on fiat or crypto, and Earn balances carry no compensation scheme cover. Revolut says the same about its crypto balances.
