Which banks in the UK offer a stablecoin off-ramp and Web3 business accounts?

Both tests together find the providers that will bank a crypto company and let it settle stablecoins into fiat. Revolut drops out on the business side, since it refuses exchanges, brokers, on and off ramp providers and other crypto firms and lets no business account send or receive crypto, while LHV drops out on the stablecoin side, offering only 'other crypto assets' under MiCA and no e-money tokens. Xapo Bank, Wirex and BCB Group pass both outright: Xapo takes USDC and USDT into accounts open to businesses and exchanges and converts them to USD, Wirex Business serves Web3 companies on rails that convert stablecoin top-ups 1:1 into USD or EUR, and BCB converts USDC into SEPA or Faster Payments for exchanges, brokers, funds and fintechs. ClearBank's stablecoin partial is USDC and EURC minting and redemption for onboarded regulated institutions, and Standard Chartered is partial on both counts because its stablecoin and banking work is for institutional partners.

Questions people ask

Which UK provider lets my crypto company convert USDC to pounds by Faster Payments?

BCB Group names USDC in its fiat to crypto and crypto to fiat conversion and settles into SEPA or Faster Payments, for business clients such as exchanges, brokers, funds and fintechs. Wirex converts stablecoin top-ups 1:1 into a USD or EUR balance and pays out by Faster Payments, and Wirex Business is open to Web3 companies. ClearBank's route is different: it mints and redeems USDC and EURC at par through Circle Mint, for regulated institutions that have been onboarded.

Why does Revolut Business not count as a stablecoin off-ramp for a crypto firm?

Revolut scores a full 2 on stablecoin off-ramp for individuals, converting USD to USDC at 1:1 with no spread. But its business accounts cannot send or receive crypto at all, and Revolut excludes exchanges, brokers, on and off ramp providers, mining firms, crypto asset managers and unregulated custodial wallets from business banking entirely. A crypto company fails at the account-opening stage, so Revolut is off this page.
