Yes. Raiffeisen NÖ-Wien customers find a Bitpanda tab inside Mein ELBA and can buy crypto from one euro, funded straight from the Raiffeisen account. The trades are executed by Bitpanda GmbH, a separate company, and you become its customer. Fees are shown before each trade but the bank does not publish a rate.
No. The bank's FAQ states that an asset transfer is not possible. Coins bought through the app stay inside the Bitpanda structure until you sell them back to euros. You also cannot deposit crypto from another exchange into the app.
The bank publishes no policy on outside exchanges. Austrian banks as a group are known to stop inbound payments from Kraken, Binance, Coinbase and Bitpanda and ask for proof of where the money came from, often with a one to two week deadline. Keep your exchange statements and purchase records ready before you move larger sums.
No. The online account needs a main residence in Austria, an Austrian mobile number and a photo ID or ID Austria. The Bitpanda tab also requires Austrian residency and a minimum age of 18. Opening takes about six to ten minutes once you qualify.
