Not really. Custodia is a chartered Wyoming bank, but today it sells blockchain infrastructure to other banks and publishes no customer account, no fiat rail and no exchange transfer service.

Total 3 of 16. Yes scores 2, partial 1, no 0. A secondary source is press or a third party rather than the bank or its regulator. Unverified means no source could be found; the score stands until one is.

| 2020 | Wyoming State Banking Board voted 8-0 on 28 October 2020 to grant Avanti Bank & Trust, now Custodia, a special purpose depository institution charter with an approved plan for digital asset custody and the Avit tokenized dollar. source |

| 2026 | Tenth Circuit denied rehearing en banc 7-3 on 13 March 2026, leaving in place the October 2025 panel ruling that Reserve Banks may refuse master accounts to legally eligible institutions. Custodia petitioned the Supreme Court on 10 July 2026. source |
Not through a published process. The site has no application form, no account page and no fee schedule, and its footer says some services are not currently available. The bank asks potential customers to email info@custodiabank.com. It only serves United States residents and has never offered individual accounts.
There is no evidence it does. Custodia has no Federal Reserve master account and lost its multi-year lawsuit over one, so it has no direct Fedwire or ACH access of its own. In its 2025 Avit pilot the dollar legs ran through Vantage Bank. No transfer product for customers is published.
Avit is Custodia's dollar token. Inside the Hazel Network of member banks it is a tokenized deposit, and outside it is meant to be a GENIUS Act payment stablecoin. Custodia's published terms promise one US dollar per Avit on demand. The network is being tested with Vantage Bank and is due to be fully available to banks and their customers in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Deposits are not FDIC insured. Custodia is a Wyoming special purpose depository institution that must hold fiat deposits fully in reserve and cannot lend them. The bank cut staff in 2024 and reduced operations to preserve capital, and it is still contesting the Fed master account denial at the Supreme Court.
